FOOTBALL GAMES TONIGHT
Our Panther football team takes on cross town rivals, the Whiteaker Wolverines, under the bright lights at McNary tonight. The JV game starts at 5pm, with the Varsity game immediately following at 7pm.
If you are planning on attending, don’t forget that your parent or guardian must accompany you. Students attempting to attend without an adult will not be admitted into the game. Also please keep in mind you will not be allowed to carry back packs or large purses/bags!
Best of luck to our football teams tonight! #gopanthers
8th GRADE CAREER DAY
8th grade students – The day you have been waiting for, your Career Day, is TODAY! Your 1st period teacher has your Career Day Passport, with your specific agenda for the day written inside the cover. Please note, you will remain in your 4th career session until 4th period is over. Enjoy your day today, 8th graders, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
BOO GRAMS
If you ordered a boo gram and it wasn’t received, it might be because there was no last name. The leadership class has a few grams that were undeliverable for this reason. If you think this might be you, please see Mrs. Shiffer in room 308 after school.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS
Did you know that research studies have shown time and time again that students who are physically active, even for an extra 15 minutes a day, have a better academic performance and a better attitude toward school? When you exercise your body, you in turn positively impact your brain and your ability to learn as well. In an attempt to encourage you to exercise your body and your brain, we will be releasing students to go outside at lunch five minutes earlier. While you still must wait to be excused, we want to encourage you to get up from the cafeteria and head outside with your friends. Take a few minutes to walk and talk or join a game of hoops. Your brain will thank you for it.
LOST & FOUND REMINDER
Students, this is just a reminder, our Lost & Found is open on Thursday mornings in the Commons. The hours are posted on a pink sign on the door, to the right of the stage area.
If you lost a sweatshirt, or other clothing item, it may turn up there. Library books are returned to the library. Other items, such as glasses, keys, or phones, are turned into the Main Office. Please keep track of your personal belongings by using your school locker. But, if you are missing something, don’t forget to check around for it!
VOLLEYBALL RESULTS
Girls lost to Whiteaker in a tough game! Great season lady panthers! Ms. Richardson is so proud of you!
