FOOTBALL RESULTS
The varsity team traveled to Houck yesterday to face the Huskies… Many of the duck fans on our team were still traumatized by the 70 to 21 beating the ducks took from the Huskies… Unlike the ducks the Varsity team destroyed the Huskies 44 to 18.. Pain Defense played the whole game and held Houck to 3 touchdowns. Sunny Hoang had a great interception, Jose Martinez and Michael Sly each recovered a fumble. Jack McCarty threw for 2 touchdowns, Ethan Martin scored 3 touchdowns, Dyami Rios scored 1 touchdown and Tejohn “Mac N Cheese” McCormick scored his first touchdown of the season and ran the ball very well. Elijah Devoursney made several great catches. Jose “Stop Drop and Roll” Delgado, Jacob Watkins, Jose Sierra Cortez, Hugo Truijillo, Jayden Gomez, and Gavin Anderson all blocked really well on the O line. We play Straub at Straub next Wednesday
JV Football team lost 20 to 14 last night against Crossler. After a tough first half, the Panthers came out strong on both sides of the ball in the third quarter. Brennen Dobson scored on a quarterback keeper run at the goal line and Ivan Chavez followed it up with the 2-point conversion. Michael Nasset scored on a long touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. Joey Hernandez and Adam Garcia led the Panthers defense. Gavin Gasperini and Dionte Apodaca did a great job of rotating in on multiple positions.
