FOOTBALL RESULTS
Claggett played Whiteaker last night and dominated the Rivalry 66 to 20. It was a fantastic game on both sides of the ball. The Panthers were led down the field by Jack McCarty who threw several touchdown passes. Dyami Rios caught a touchdown pass and ran 3 more in, Ethan Martin rushed for almost 1 million yards and scored 3 touchdowns. Elijha Devoursney had several great catches and scored 3 touchdowns. Pain Defense held Whiteaker to 1 touchdown in the 2nd half. Kyle Grass, Roman Garcia, Sunny Hoang, Chris Greenawald, Grady Burrows all played great defense. Grady Burrows made a touchdown saving tackle and caused a fumble, Sunny Hoang picked it up and almost took it to the house. Coach Jose and Coach Carr are both super proud of every one of you. Thank you to all the Varsity football players for making this a season to remember. Thank you to all the staff who came out and supported our Panthers at the game last night, the kids loved seeing you on the side lines. A big shout out to Mr. Wilkerson, Mr. Krause, Mrs. Nichols and KJ for helping out at the game last night, we could not have done it without you.

Claggett JV football beat Whiteaker in a hard fought game 8-6. Michael Nassett scored the Panthers only touchdown and 2-point conversion, followed by a game saving tackle on a Whiteaker 2-point conversion attempt. The Panther defense played tough all night and every player contributed. The defense was in the backfield with sacks by gavin gasperini, Joey Hernandez, and cesar Vallejo. Diante Apodaca had several passes defended and Elijah Saukov saved two drives with huge defensive plays. Gavin Gasperini played great in all aspects of the game with a big run on a reverse to set up the panther touchdown, many tackles on
defense, and long punts to change the field position on special teams. The Panthers JV football team finishes the season with a 3 and 2 record.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS
Did you know that research studies have shown time and time again that students who are physically active, even for an extra 15 minutes a day, have a better academic performance and a better attitude toward school? When you exercise your body, you in turn positively impact your brain and your ability to learn as well. In an attempt to encourage you to exercise your body and your brain, we will be releasing students to go outside at lunch five minutes earlier. While you still must wait to be excused, we want to encourage you to get up from the cafeteria and head outside with your friends. Take a few minutes to walk and talk or join a game of hoops. Your brain will thank you for it.
