Parent Info for CCMS Gardening and Culinary Summer Camp

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; July 31-August 16

Camp Timeline:

7:20am – Student Drop Off – Enter thru Front Door by Gym

7:30am – Breakfast in Commons

8:00am – Class Time – Gardening

11:40am – Lunch in Commons

12:00pm – Class Time – Cooking

2:30pm – Bus Departs/Parent Pick Up (out front)

Important Info for Parents:

We are checking each student’s health record but I am asking for notification of any allergies.  Please email me directly if your student has any allergies.  I will confirm that I have received your email.  If I miss a reply…contact me again, please.

We will be out and in the sun during the morning gardening session.  Please send your student already prepped with sunscreen, or send it with them to apply before working outside.  They may bring hats, gloves, sunglasses, long sleeved shirts.  If they wish to change from outdoor to indoor clothes for the afternoon, there will be a break to do so.

All materials for cooking will be provided by the program.  We have adequate knives for students to use here in the room.  Please DO NOT have your student bring personal knives or knife sets to the school.  Again…DO NOT bring knives to the camp.  Thank you.
