LISTEN UP PANTHERS
It’s the beginning of a new six weeks, and its time to get organized! Clean out those binders, restock with all the necessary supplies, and take a minute to reflect on the goal you set for yourself at the beginning of the year. How did you do? Did you make your goal? Do you still have room for improvement?
It’s also time to be thinking about a goal for this new six-week period. The focus for your goal will be “Taking Responsibility for my Own Learning” How can you improve in this area? Do you check “Student Vue” regularly? Maybe you should! Do you turn your work in on time? Do you check in with your teacher after you’ve been absent? These are just a few of the ways you can take responsibility for your learning!! Think about your strengths and weaknesses and write a SMART goal that will help you be more successful.
And don’t forget – if you scored a perfect 12 on your binder check enter your FIRE ticket for the class drawing!
FOOTBALL RESULTS
On Tuesday the 11th The Varsity Football team won their game against Leslie 64 to 14. The “Pain” defense stepped up and played almost the entire game against Leslie. Jose Martinez Reyes recovered a fumble and set the offense up to score! Sunny Hoang, Sean Miller, Roman Garcia, Chris Greenawald, Juan Acosta, Matthew Sly, Jesus Cid and Hugo Truijillo all played exceptionally well on Defense and held Leslie to one offensive touchdown the entire game. We play Houck On Wednesday at Houck, the JV team plays at Claggett. Come out and support JV quarter back Brennan Dobson and the rest of the JV team as they look for their 3rd win in a row!
