Claggett Varsity team beat Straub on Friday night 34 to 6. The Panthers were led by Ethan Martin and Dyami Rios who both scored 2 touchdowns. Oscor Picho scored a touchdown on a series of 3 runs. Elijah Devoursney had several great catches in the game. The Panther defense held strong against a good running back. Our 3 linebackers, Oscar Picho, Dyami Rios and Andrew “JJ Not” Blakenbaker all played well. The offensive line did a great job and continued to show huge growth. Jose Delgao did a great job on both the offensive and defensive lines. Matthew Ceja had a great defensive play on a long pass. Kyle Grass let the “Pain” Defense and stop Straub from scoring in the final seconds of the game. Juan Acosta and Jose Martinez Reyes both kicked the ball exceptionally well and Jose had a beautiful on side kick which we recovered.
